About Us

Won Girl At a Time

I am Smirah Lambert, the CEO and Founder of Won Girl At a Time, established in 2018, EST. Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, I am driven by a profound belief that my journey and story have the power to transform, uplift, and safeguard the lives of our youth.

My personal experience of becoming a mother at the age of 14 presented me with numerous challenges including peer pressure, societal stereotypes, and the struggle to complete my education successfully due to a lack of necessary tools and resources. However, with unwavering support and encouragement from my family, I overcame these obstacles, graduating high school as the class president and embarking on a journey of academic and professional achievements.

About us continued

Through dedication and perseverance, I earned an associate degree, a bachelor’s degree, and an MBA, while also excelling as a Senior Human Resources Manager in a Fortune 100 Global organization and owning multiple real estate properties. The pivotal role my family played in my success highlighted the critical need for guidance and resources for young women facing similar challenges.

Won Girl At a Time was born from this need to provide mentorship, direction, and resources to empower young women. Our mission is to illuminate the path for those who, like me, have faced nontraditional life journeys but possess the Will To Win. By sharing my experiences and knowledge, I aim to instill in our youth the belief that they are capable of overcoming any obstacle.
